Jagan Nath University, Jaipur has been established by using an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008) on April 16, 2008, accepted under phase 2(f) through the UGC Act, 1956, approved by NAAC (2nd Cycle) with "A" grade in 2022 and is member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University has also obtained a different reputation in agriculture schooling of being permitted by means of ICAR for 5 years its B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture application. The University offers many UG and PG courses in different areas like Agriculture Science, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Management, Law, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Education, Vocational Studies. The University has approval from various recognized Regulatory Authorities for programs in multiple disciplines.
The University has evolved a complete academic program which includes the today's pointers of NEP-2020 which includes CBCS, outcome based exams, ability development, enterprise partnerships, holistic ecosystem, research, extension sports with consciousness on promoting quality better education and employability among college students. To promote student centric surroundings, an essential policy framework has been established through Training and Placement Cell, Guidance and Career Council Cell, Anti-Ragging Cell, Gender Sensitization and Sexual Harassment Cell, Student Welfare Cell, Student Grievances Redressal Cell, SC/ST and OBC Cell and Minority Cell.
